Daisy Archer (played by Tasha Ames) is a young American graduate student who travels half way around the world to learn more about her obession with Nikola Tesla. She feels herself in love but slightly disillusioned with her hero and needs to know more. In Yugoslavia, at the Tesla Museum in Belgrade, she meets Dragan (Dylan Kenin) and Biljana (Dale Elisabeth Manolakas), his secretary, who manage to persuade her to go to Gospic in Croatia where Tesla grew up. They tell her it is to see if the house is still standing. Croatia is still designated a war area and therefore dangerous but if she wants to see the letters she must go. It is here she meets the Croat Zoran (Max Ciano). Apart from the historical references this is a fascinating play which is well performed by all the cast. The message is that there is always hope and to cling onto it--no matter what. --Sheila Kay Jack
